Pitt Football is Still a Joke
They aren't good
On Wednesday morning when I was driving to work, the "experts" on 93.7 THE FAN were talking about the upcoming Pitt vs. Notre Dame game. Notre Dame is ranked in the top 5 and the radio analysts were talking as if Pitt has a great chance to win. I couldn't believe it. When is the last time Pitt football was truly relevant? When is the last time Pitt went to a bowl game that you actually heard of? When is the last time Big East football was respectable? I'm sorry Pitt fans, but you can't just bring in a random coach every year, have one nationally ranked recruit, sign every 2-star prospect in the WPIAL, have 10,000 fans attend your home games, and think you have a legitimate football program. I'm not saying Pitt has no chance to win, but they are by far the underdog. Right now it's a 17 point spread. It should be a 30 point spread. Tino Sunseri vs. Manti Te'o? Get real.
