NFL is a Joke

The NFL is not Going in the Right Direction

Apparently those who run the NFL are forgetting it is called the NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE. National means it is an American sport. This means they definitely should not even consider having the Super Bowl (and any other games) overseas. It is ridiculous. The fans are the reason professional sports exist. The NFL would be punishing the fans by having Super Bowl L (50) in London. The sole reason some want this to happen is to make more money. Don't they already have enough? Keep our country's favorite sport in the U.S. Could you imagine if the English Premier League soccer championship was in America? Of course not.

Also, there is an inherent risk to playing football. There are collisions on every play and sometimes players get hurt. It happens. Penalizing players like Steelers FS Ryan Clark for hitting a receiver in the ribs with his shoulder and calling it a helmet-to-helmet hit is not the solution to counteract the amount of player injuries. And if I ever see a referee call another penalty for blocking an opponent who was not looking again I will probably stop watching the NFL. Steelers TE Leonard Pope did not even hit the guy that hard.
